SOLWODI International

SOLWODI grew out of the long-standing commitment of Sr. Dr. Lea Ackermann in Kenya—an initiative whose impact is still felt today. What began there in 1985 evolved into an international network supporting women and girls who have experienced violence.

Today, SOLWODI is active in Kenya through several partner organizations and works closely with sister organizations in Austria, Romania, and Hungary.

SOLWODI participates together with European partner organizations in several EU-funded projects.
