Focus of Work:

  • Victims of human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation/ labor exploitation

  • Violence in the name of honor (genital mutilation, forced marriages, honor killings, control by family/relatives, etc.)

  • Marriage migration


Principles of our work

In our social work, we offer counseling and support to women with a history of migration and displacement who suffer under violent patriarchal structures. Responsible and impartial action on behalf of our clients, empowerment, freedom, and self-determination for our clients, appreciation, respect, diversity, and networking guide our professional practice.

Counseling is free of charge, treated confidentially, and can also be conducted anonymously. We can provide translators for counseling sessions if needed.
 

Our Offer of Support:

Support is provided in person, by phone, or online (including anonymously).
 

· Information on the issues mentioned above and the relevant legal framework
 

· Counseling and long-term support for (victim) witnesses in human trafficking cases, and referral to a specialized attorney for representation as a civil party
 

· Assistance with decision-making and long-term support for a life free from violence and self-determined

 

· Preparation for BAMF hearings and court proceedings

 

· Support in communicating with authorities and public agencies (Immigration Office, Job Center, Police, Youth Welfare Office, BAMF, Court, etc.)

 

Referrals:

· to safe housing (women’s shelter, crisis center, safe house)

· to medical and psychotherapeutic treatment

· to attorneys specializing in various fields

 

· Workshops and women’s cafés on various topics (information about rights, gender-based violence, integration in Germany, etc.)

 

· Close cooperation with other counseling centers, social services, youth welfare offices, police, women’s shelters, BAMF, lawyers, equal opportunity officers, special representatives of the BAMF, women’s shelters, etc.

 

 

Networking & Public relations:

  • We organize lectures, workshops, interviews, information booths, and campaigns on specialized topics such as protection against violence, women’s rights, and human trafficking.

  • In 2024, in collaboration with ECPAT e.V. (Working Group for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation), we founded an interdisciplinary “Network Against Child Trafficking” in Regensburg. Together with the police, the City of Regensburg’s Youth Welfare Office, counseling centers run by Caritas and the Johanniter, the government of the Upper Palatinate, and the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, we advocate for better protection of children against human trafficking.

FLINTA* welcome:

The FLINTA* welcome project launched on December 1, 2025, and focuses on providing counseling and support to female-identified and queer clients. The project runs until November 30, 2026, and is funded as part of the joint program “IQMS – Strengthening the Inclusion of Queer Refugees and Migrants” by the LSVD+ Association

Queer Diversity, funded by the Robert Bosch Foundation, in collaboration with the Magnus Hirschfeld Federal Foundation.

 

AMIF Lichtblicke:

We are participating in the Lichtblicke project—Together Against Human Trafficking and Violence, which runs from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2027. The project aims to improve the identification and support of victims of human trafficking and gender-based violence and to establish sustainable structures in shelters. We contribute to this project through our counseling work. The Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund (AMIF) is a financing instrument of the European Union (EU) that supports EU member states in implementing European asylum, migration, and integration policies.
